After one week of notice, my previous firm, Maroko and Landau, closed its doors last week. I will continue practicing on my own until the right fit comes along. I have changed my current profile to reflect my current contact info. Please email me at mdmelamed@comcast.net or call me at 248 767 3977.
Thanks!!

Will you continue working on your own if yours is the right offer?
Congratulations for being on the other side. It's fun out here ;-)
Call me if there is ever anything I can do!

Wishing you all the best Marc!
Marc, sometimes things happen for a reason even though you might not be able to make heads or tails of it right now. If there is anything I can do for you, my door will always be open.
For all fellow MCCers out there who aren't familiar with his work, I highly endorse him. He has worked closely with several members of Essential Strategies, LLC and I couldn't be more pleased.
Buy him a coffee and get to know him.
Marc,
heard about the closing from Gary Schwarz, quite sudden in nature.
Give yourself the credit to try it on your own before working for someone else again.
If we can do anything to help, just ask:)
Congratulations, Marc, on stepping (albeit unintentionally) into the great adventure of self-employment! Please do let us know how we can help - does this change your "ideal prospect" profile?
Wishing you the best, and willing to help -
Linda
God speed...
Marc what a great attitude you have about what is becoming an all to familiar storyhere in MI. I can see from comments that you are highly recommended and will keep you in mind for my personal business in the future.

Hi Marc, I intereviewed an attorney in New Orleans who made the transistion from large law firm to solo practice with a virtual office and loved it. I'm happy to put you two in touch. Also, if you have not joined already, Solosez is a great list and active forum for solo practice attorneys.
I share the sentiments expressed - we're here for you!

Marc,
As chance would have it; I am the Coordinator for Intelligent Office. We provide virtual officing solutions. Please feel free to contact me anytime to discuss the many options available to you!
Marc,
What is your specialty or areas of interest? Something very similar happened to my husband in December and he's pursuing his own gig in financial turnaround consulting...it's very exciting!

Marc,
All the best. I look at it as a blessing in disguise. I read your profile (Estate planning & charitable attorney).
I have a client for who I am doing branding, Web design and internet marketing. What they do is tie up Charity with Sports personalities. http://www.playersforcharity.org/
If this is something that falls in your bucket please let me know. I will be happy to introduce you to this new company.

Marc, I am sorry to hear about your firm! Have you found another firm or will you be practicing on your own? Let me know if I can help.
Marc,
Best wishes as you mull your options over and chart your course. I chose independence myself late last year - exhilarating.
Marc,
Best of luck. I am glad that we have stayed in touch on a regular basis and lets continue to do so. You will SUCCEED!
