I saw Slumdog Millionaire last night. It's a great movie. See it if you have not. I did have one thought when I left the theater toough. What is more important to success, what you learn from a book or what you learn from the street?

I saw it yesterday, too, Duane... and think the answer to your question is "neither" - because in my mind, what is most important to success is what you DO with the things you learn. A few lessons that were clear for me from this movie:
1) That our memory can serve us for good, if we know how to use it
2) That focusing on a single purpose, despite the odds, will see us through
3) That people may betray us, then help us, then betray us, then help us - and still be worthy of our love.
The final scene, as the credits rolled, was so cool!
I happen to see this movie twice (was astounded the first time) and what I came away with is that not to judge an experiences as either good or bad, for beyond the first glance often lays a path that leads to a greater good Lifes Lessons !
Great observation, Brian!
