Well spoken Charlie - thanks!
I listened again to inspire me for tomorrow. Thanks!
I have that crazed list that is too long for 24 hours and now I feel like if I do the most important things first and well. That is ok, it's better than ok, it's REMARKABLE!
Thanks Charlie
Charlie, You and I think alike. I've always said I'd rather do 3 things well than 6 things half-you know what. When you spread yourself too thin your productivity diminishes but more importantly the quality of your work diminishes. Shoot for QUALITY!
P.S. No more videos while driving-please!
Charlie, terrific work brother! I just had this conversation with my coach... about feeling the PRESSURE to do more, to be in more places, to take on more projects. It's exhausting to say the least.
The coaching I got was some of the simplest and most powerful. My coach just asked me to ask the following question:
"For what?"
In other words, anytime a new task, event, conversation or trip comes up, qualify it with that simple question first.
You may just discover (like I have) that success is far more about your being than your doing.
Keep up the great work,
-Preston
What a great video, Charlie. The message is so true. There is a natural reaction to tread water when the economy is drowning. Yet survival and sur-thriv-al depends on swimming smartly to shore/success.
I added the video with a few comments to my Catapult blog to get it even more exposure.
