Local WOMC radio personality Dick Purtan is now on Facebook. The reason I mention this is Purtan & Purtan's People do a lot to support local charities.They give back. Friday February 27. Purtan's People will be doing a 16hr. radiothon to raise money for the Salvation Army's Bread & Breakfast Club. They feed and shelter thousands of people less fortunate than ourselves. Many of the people who gave last year are now standing in line for assistance. We have to fill the gap. I'm urging everyone to join and follow Purtan & Purtan's People on Facebook, because they do a lot of good for the community and it's nice to know there is a place to put some money when you're feeling benevolent or can afford to donate.

Purtan's People's Radiothon for the Salvation Army's Bread & Breakfast Club is next Friday February 27. Please give a buck or two if you can. Remember if you give you gather, you can't help another without helping yourself.
