Business Leader / IT Project Manager currently seeking a new opportunity

Hello everyone - I too have been affected by recent downsizing in the Detroit metro area. I have 24+ years experience as a Business Leader / IT Project Manager and I am seeking a new opportunity.
In my last position I served as a Global IT Project Manager at Electronic Data Systems where I lead several successful strategic projects. I am a detail oriented individual with several transferrable skills that can be used across multiple industries and business ventures. I am a Leader, a Team Member, and a Mentor; and I enjoy working with individuals with diverse knowledge and cultures.

As Chuck suggests, the Shrine Network is a very good networking opportunity. You can also visit http://www.ctsministries.org/ for a listing of several church sponsored networking events.
Also, check out Execunet. Go to www.ExecuNet.com to find the date/time of the next meeting. Meeting are generally the second Monday of the month.
Don't forget about the various MCC events. They are another good way to meet high quality people.
