This is a new project that David Benjamin and I came up with. We call what we do "conversations" with various entrepreneurs and community leaders on unlimitted topics. David and I were joined by Shauna Nicholson and Brian Eyster in show #1 to discuss Social Media on many levels.
Currently, you can find the podcast at http://detroitvoice.wordpress.com but the program will be distributed elsewhere in the future.
Always looking for guests and ideas.

I'd love to hear suggestions from local Detroiters, who would you like to hear from, get exposure and become more known. There are so many talented up-n-comers and we're happy to provide a platform to get your name out there.
Exciting times!
Great idea, guys. The link takes me to a webpage that is just a bunch of promo links ...
Thanks Linda, let's see if this works!

Thanks, David, for posting it here, and Thanks, Larry, for sending me the correct URL privately.
You have all done a GREAT job with this first podcast - congratulations!
I'd love to see a podcast with Lin Klaassen, Face Reading by Lin, one with Drew Sygit regarding the truth about the mortgage industry, and one on marketing, (featuring of course, Charlie Wollborg and me).
Then there is Preston True, Natalie Brundred, and Ralph Mortenson on coaching, Charlie, Terry, Beverly and Dave Biskner on using LinkedIn and MCC, and another great one would be conversations with MCC members who represent non-profits and the challenges they face right now. Operation:Kid Equip, The Furniture Bank, The Community Housing Network are just a few of the orgs to talk to.
Linda,
Thank you for the suggestions. While we will and have considered many of the folks you mention, we also want to mix in some guys that many of us don't know but should. Look for our next installment within the next couple of weeks. I image they will be not quite as long as the feedback dictates.
I also like the non-profit angle, actually there is a group right now working on one in paticular. It's really been interesting meeting with the community, learning about what is going on. There are endless number of local projects in the works.
The revitalization of Michigan is happening, largely due to what MCC is doing along with other talented community leaders as well as young fresh minds!
David, I agree - new faces, new ideas. Personally, I would like to learn more about the "leaders" who are not in the media - the "ordinary entrepreneurs" and just regular people who are making a difference selflessly.
Larry,
I enjoyed your podcast with David, Shauna and Brian. Keep up the good work.
To all-
We just had an opening created for our podcast series tommorrow. If you are going to the MCC training today AND would like to be considered as a last minute guest AND are available late tomorrow afternoon...come see me!
More details will be shared in person.
See many of you soon!

While the major media drags us down with nothin' but bad news, Larry and David have taken the "high road" - - showcasing the vibrant, upbeat, and determined people in metro Detroit.
Great Job!
Keep it up -
