Resume Writing Assistance

I'm hoping someone has some references...I wrote my own resume and it's not getting the results I hoped. I've gotten quotes from resume services ranging from $150 to $1000. They all have references, but again, I'm hoping that someone has some experience with this. Let me know. And thanks again for the help and replies!

Along with writing my own personal resume, I've worked with career services at both Oakland University and Wayne State University to get critique and advice. From there, I've successfully assisted with writing resumes for almost a dozen others.
