New Michigan Job Club
Hi Everyone! I hope that you and your families are enjoying the holiday season. As we close out this year, I hope that 2009 holds even greater things in store for you, and for the wonderful state in which we live. I also wanted to make you aware of a wonderful resource for job seekers. Fellow MCC member, David Damore is heading up a Michigan Job Club. The idea is one birthed by Tory Johnson, frequent contributor to Good Morning America. David is one of a select group of people selected to lead what will become a nationwide model. The Michigan Job Club is a small group of job seekers who interact and meet virtually and in person to share resources and offer support throughout the search process. There is no fee for membership, other than a good attitude.
I have signed on to offer professional Career Marketing assistance to all members. From my work with clients, one of the most difficult parts of the job search is emotional and practical support. This job club exists to help with both. If you or anyone you know is in the market and would appreciate a network of positive support please reach out to David. You can email him at david.damore@gmail.com. The club size is being kept small but there are still a few slots open.
Thanks and Happy New Year!
Karen
