We still have a lot for which to be thankful!
You have friends, family, opportunities, good times (both past and yet to come) and a computer or phone that allows you to read this!
Yes, there have been some times here in the D lately and I am not sure that things will ever be the same. But does that mean they have to get worse?
No! Most definitely not. So many people are going to be given the opportunity to start over and create the lives they have dreamed of for themselves and for their families. (Please check out Charlie's video on Leading Economic Indicators)
Will it be tough? Of course, but tell me when has anyone ever been handed what they wanted on a silver platter.
We are strong. We are Connected. We are resourceful. We are one. WE ARE DETROIT! and we will continue to lead the world. Remember, life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% about how you deal with it.
WE have an incredible spirit.
And for that, and for you all I am very thankful. Happy thanksgiving Motorcityconnect. Know that you are loved and know that you are appreciated.
