Who's with me?
I think the conversations we have and the energy we would share will be nothing short of amazing. The swell of good feeling I have as I type this feels like waves hitting the beach. Maybe you'll experience something when reading it.
I am thinking we can do lunch and just have this be the focus. People that want to talk about business can do that at plenty of our other lunch meetings.
We could also do coffee, beer or oxygen (I do think an outdoor meeting would be best).

I am SO with you on this, as my business goes through the ROOF and so does the rest of my life when I put the spiritual side first and foremost. There are daily miracles and the synergy is amazing. Imagine if we had a whole ROOM full of people who live the same way!!! WOWSAH! Let's go!!!!

Well MCC folks, This is the first time I am seeing this post.. I would love to spark this on the east side.
Just to let you know that in spite of the economy, this will be my best business year. I know the spiritual side is important and for me its not about religion, religion is the vehicle, not the journey.
Not to step on toes but would like to have it this way a bit and in the morning. My afternoons/evenings are full, so 8:15am works for me..... There is a Biggby coffee at 40027 Groesbeck Highway, Clinton Township, MI 48036, just north of Harrington - about 3 miles south of HallRd/M59.
As for dates, how about Friday, April 24th at 8:15am.....for the early bird east siders.

This event is scheduled for 4/17 at 3:00 at MCC HQ- 555 Friendly Road Pontiac (even though it is Bloomfield Twp- near the Corner of Square Lake and Telegraph).

The 24th is a possibility and I would also be interested in a Royal Oak meeting.

I'm really addressing Jill. Maybe you're meant to be reading now and not working.
Did you consider that aspect? At times, we think we have all the answers when maybe we're just going along and not being aware.

This would interest me in that I think that our lives have a spiritual whole that, if understood and practiced, can give grounding and direction. One of the other responses indicated that:
"Count me in as long as this is about universal spiritual type of interaction and not about any individual religion. I believe universal principles pertain to all people of all types of religion, cultures, and races."

I'm not sure if the group has ever met on the topic to discuss "the spiritual side"? One of Detroit's own, Mitch Albom has written a fantastic book that relates to the "spiritual side of life". I just finished his new book "Have a Little Faith". It would be a great book to share with others and hear what others have to say. It was right up there with one of Albom's other great books and one of my all time favorites, "Tuesday's with Morrie". I think others would enjoy this book a great deal and it proves that in people's faith journey, we're all a lot more alike than we are different.
