I want to build a face to face group around the spiritual side

Who's with me?
I think the conversations we have and the energy we would share will be nothing short of amazing. The swell of good feeling I have as I type this feels like waves hitting the beach. Maybe you'll experience something when reading it.
I am thinking we can do lunch and just have this be the focus. People that want to talk about business can do that at plenty of our other lunch meetings.
We could also do coffee, beer or oxygen (I do think an outdoor meeting would be best).
Namaste-
Terry

I hears ya, Terry. I have been living and breathing LOA lately along with sucking up info in business books. What an odd selection I take home on any given trip to the library; You Own the Power ( Rosemary Altea) to The Power of Six Sigma ( Subir Chowdhury), metaphysical and business processes respectively. This stuff hops off the shelves at me and I take them home and either pick up their vibe or not.
I do all of this instead of what I should be doing, i.e. working. SO much fun!
I think your idea sounds great. I actually came on here to see about BlightBusters and was considering signing on for the first part of the day. I had RSVP'd for two Auburn Hills meetings and had to cancel, so I am a little shy about committing to anything!

Hi Terry,
Sounds good to me.
Count me in.
Mark
Interesting idea. Can't wait to find out more.
HI Terry;
Count me in as long as this is about universal spiritual type of interaction and not about any individual religion. I believe universal principles pertain to all people of all types of religion, cultures, and races.
The principles pertain to all aspects of our life busines as well as professional. I would make it my intention to be a part of this group.

I'm in, Terry - and willing to help you organize it, if you'd like.
Count me in....
Me too, me too, me too!
And I agree with Lin - I'm VERY interested in a group and conversations about spirituality. Not interested at all in a conversation about any particular religion/s. Religion is PART of spirituality, but only a part. I'm interested in the whole.
Hi Terry and all...
We've done book discussions at InSights with Tolle and Dyer. We've had great success with starting (the group discussion) with a book. There is a group in Brighton starting the Presence Process (following the book by Michael Brown) next week. We've got a great circle of people here interested in what you are talking about putting together.
Guess that was my long way of saying that I am interested in getting together in a group with MCC to discuss things spiritual...we have a cozy book nook if anyone is interested in travelling to Brighton for spiritual (or really just about any kind of) discussion.
Hugs!
Sandy
To All,
Love the idea, and would enjoy attending. I always enjoy discussions regarding spirituality, and the many reasons why we work on that last, with ourselves!
Just name the day and time!!
"Religion is the business of spirituality" - Bono of U2 fame
That's a great quotation. While I enjoy learning about other's religions, I don't practice any myself. I intend this group to be of the "collected consciousness" variety. I want to have discussions where we will all learn, share and grow.
I think there will be a masterminding component. I think there will be a book club component. I think there will also be some pontificating moments from the people in the room. We all have unique gifts and insights and I want this to be a safe place to share them.
I would prefer this meeting to take place at 8:00 a.m. as I feel this would be a wonderful way to start the day. I am also open to it being at 7:00 p.m. What are your thoughts in terms of timing? Once I have that, I will pick a date, likely 2 weeks out and we will commence!!
When I sign off "BE Connected" I hope you know that I mean way more than just being a part of motorcityconnect

Hello,
I love the 8am time frame, as I have a teenager in the house, and mornings can be challenging. I will conform to the final time picked, but I vote for 8am!!
Thx much,
Carol
8am would be good. What city would it be in?
Thanks
Hans
Morning is best for me, and my availability depends on the day of the week. Mondays and Wednesdays are generally out -
Count me in. 8 AM works any weekday BUT Friday. As the weather is a bit, well, autumn in Michgan, Coffee sounds better to me. How about Michigan owned Biggby's? Either their Telegraph north of Sq. Lk. location or the new one on Dixie in Waterford if it is open yet?

Morning, noon, night. Just not Monday; morning , noon or night.
Monday's are painful.
