It dawned on me recently that we haven't communicated who we are, what we are and and how you can benefit lately. It's high time to change that.
First off, welcome to Motor City Connect. We are glad you're here. Our members are able to derive a ton of value just by putting forth a little effort. Some of the benefits our membership has experienced:

What's amazing about this, is all our members had to do to get these things was spend a little time on the website and ASK (click that link to learn all about the ASK).
But we are far more than just a website. We have face to face meetings every week. To make it easy for you they are at the same locations at the same time:
We meet at BDs in Novi on the first Tuesday every month at 11:15.
We meet at Black Finn in Royal Oak on the second Tuesday at 11;15
We meet at Kerby's in Troy for breakfast on the second Thursday at 7:30
We meet at Big Boy in Walled Lake (near Commerce) for breakfast on the third Friday at 8:00.
We meet at BDs in Royal Oak on the forth Tuesday at 11:15.
These meetings are unlike other networking meetings. We don't require you to be there, we want you there. As we MEET you and get the chance to UNDERSTAND your needs, we have the opportunity to CONNECT you with what you seek. Come on out, you will love the experience.
We also put together some interesting trainings and other chances to get together. Be sure to check the CALENDAR to see what events are happening that are of interest to you.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention all of the wonderful work we have done for our community. We have helped the Red Cross get blood, Operation Kid Equip get school supplies for kids, Motor City Blightbusters tear down blighted houses in Detroit and a lot more.
Think of us as your local Linkedin or Facebook (online networking) combined with a chamber of commerce (face to face events) with a little Rotary (community service sprinkled in. We also have groups on Facebook, Linkedin, Plaxo, Peoplemovers and an account on Twitter (find us there as @motorcity).
