Sponsors Needed for the Rainbow Run for Acceptance & Diversity

I just posted a new event in Ferndale called the Rainbow Run for Acceptance & Diversity. One of the events taking place during the 4-day Ferndale Pride weekend in June, this event is one of the most anticipated portions of the weekend....and certainly the messiest.

As part of the symbolism that things are better when you mix all colors and all kinds, runners will have six different colors of a corn starch-based paint thrown at their white t-shirts as they run by. By the end, their shirts will be rainbow colored.

We are still in need of sponsors to help reach our fundraising goals. A portion of the monies raised from this event will go toward funding anti-bullying programs in local schools and assisting Affirmations with their teen support programs.

Sponsorship opportunities start at just $200 and provide great exposure including business name on the t-shirts and website, and the ability to place something in each runners bag. Runners for this event are coming from all over metro-Detroit and include folks of all ages.
