I've been thinking about you

I just sent this blast:

And by you I mean the people with whom we are connected with here who enjoy business and love the Motor City! (show that love at the next MCC Live in Royal Oak on 10/25 at 11:30 at the Oxford Inn)

I've long held the desire to help others. While I'm not sure where I got it, I can assure you that I believe at the core of my being that it is what we as humans are destined to do. Now I know there is LOTS of proof otherwise and I believe that is because our media is misguided. 

This post took a very interesting turn here and went another 5 paragraphs. I decided to pull it from the e-mail blast and post it here in the "spiritual side of life" discussion board. This way only those who want to read it all have to. The following is the last paragraph.

We were meant to live an abundant life. There is plenty of time to do so. We need to get accustomed to sharing and experiencing good deeds with those around us. It starts with you telling us how we can help you. You have heard of "The ASK" by now. I have created a 7 page document that details it and is available for download on my website at http://trybean.com. Go get it. Help us help you which will help us all!

What matters most to you in networking?

Are you doing it to get more business?

Do you do it to learn new things?

Is it because you have the opportunity to give back and help others?

Are you trying to find a new job, employee or strategic partners?

What we would like to see

The subgroups are a very valuable tool on this site. Especially the ones that are broken down by geography. I appreciate that if you live/work in Chesterfield you don't care that there is a meeting in Commerce. If you would take a moment and join the subgroup that fits your location and industry, that would be great. It will help us put together meetings that will add more value to you. It will also help us cut down on irrelevant communication to you. Don't act like you don't love that!!

We'd like to see you download the document on The ASK (it's located on the bottom and labeled "free preview of my e-book) and post discussions on it. The more you share on how we can help you the more help you can receive.

Sponsors. I think it would be great to find some folks who are interested in getting their business displayed on a site with over 100k page views per month. Or an e-mail that goes out to over 5,000 people weekly. Or at a live event that has anywhere from 20-400 people in attendance.
