HEY PEOPLE! Yes I'm shouting, and for those of you who know me you know that's a rarity. We seem to be stuck on thirteen volunteers and we should have double that or even triple that to make a difference. I'm old sickly and can barely get out of my own way, but I'm still willing to try to help make this a community helpfull event. We need more volunteers to pick up my slack. We have double the members we had in the Spring when we did the first Blightbusters and we had 25 plus attendees then. WE CAN DO BETTER!

Easy buddy... Duane - You know what happens when people yell at me? I cry! Are you up for the challenge in dealing with a grown man cry in your arms? Didn't think so... I will be there knocking down a crack house with you - Try telling others around you to join along not on MCC! There is so much going on here with so many events, groups, etc that sometimes things get lost in the mix - If we all tag team this I think we can get the word spread quickly!
Thanks Duane for your enthusiasm - Keith Stonehouse
We're still stuck on thirteen volunteers. Let's show a little spirit gang. It's only one day. It's amazing the feeling of satisfaction you get when you take a haven of community turmoil and turn it into a pile of rubble that will be replaced by a subtle beacon of hope.
We only have so much time to contribute in our lives. The bad news is that time flies, the good news is that you are the pilot. Make a little time for Blightbusters, please.
I am curious...
Would you folks rather spend 6 hours pitching in or donate $20.00?
I am very interested in the conversation (yes I know neither is an option and your answer here doesn't hold you to either).
My answer in most cases: I would rather donate the $20.00, but the time spent at blightbusters is priceless to me.
Terry
We need a little more help Saturday at Blightbusters. I for one, along with Terry and the eleven other members who have volunteered are going to have to shoulder the burden for the group I guess. Isn't that kinda sad?
Hey gang, We have 16 potential volunteers for Saturday's Blightbuster's event. Tearing down a crack house. Can anyone else find a little time in their busy schedules and help us out? It's one day people and we help eliminate a little blight from the neighborhood. One step at a time we can make a difference, if we care. Do we?
