Youth Drill Team and Dance Troop in Pontiac is in need of support...
Hey MCC,
I'm here to give an update on Stepeze. We have recieved a donated a space for us to use in Pontiac. YIPPY...Thank God!!! So we are on our way to launching a successfull and exciting Drill Team and Dance Troop in which is multicultural too.
The kids are EXCITED about this unique opportunity to be trained to become productive members of society and have a blast doing it. I have been empressed with the youth that is involved thus far they are full of energy and very talented.
We plan to perform at the Pontiac Parade this fall. But we do have needs. This program is FREE!!! But they need uniforms, equipment and donations for items needed.
These kids are definetly at-risk and the City of Pontiac has NOTHING to offer them. That's why they are getting into the negative activites after school. Stepeze has a tried and proven program that works. We plan to build it up over the next school year and Launch our First Day-Camp Drill Team & Dance Troop Camp this summer 2009.
We are HIPE but need some support.. Let me know who you know and how you can help them out. I have been committed to this vision since 1999 and my pockets are busted..I can't continue to do this ($$$) on my own... So I am reaching out to you for help. Reach out to the youth, they will be excited to know that someone else cares. Anytype of donation will be gladly accepted and yes we are tax-deductible.

I wish I had known about your group when we held the American Soldier Rock Fash Tribute Concert on August 31 at Emerald Theater. I sent you a personal message with my contact information and future events that I'm producing and affiliated with that I'd like to offer support through. We do have a plan to hold another benefit for the veterans in 2009 and planning is underway on that.

You may want to consider calling John DelCampo at JDs Key Club in Pontiac. Every Thursday night is designated as Fabulous Fundraiser Night, to benefit non-profit organizations. Give him a call at 248 338 7337 and he will explain how the program works.
