Where's my $2.00??
One of my favorite movies during my high school years was "Better off Dead" starring John Cusack. A recurring theme throughout the movie was when the paperboy would chase John yelling "Where's my $2.00?". I am not sure why that always strikes me as funny, but it does.
I am hoping that MCC members can provide a happier ending regarding the $2.00 than the poor paperboy did (he rode his bike off the side of the mountain, he lived so no worries there).
As you likely know, Motorcityconnect gets involved with charitable causes from time to time. On September 7 we will be doing a walk for friendship. We are asking that our members either join us for the walk and have one of the healthiest networking events ever or consider making a contribution to the cause. We have committed to raising $2500.00. If each person in our ranks contributed just $2.00, we would exceed our goal. Special thanks to the 9 people who reached into their pockets during this past Tuesday's Royal Oak luncheon.

Thanks foe reminding everyone about this cause we are supporting.
Just a numbers for people to chew on (Because I love numbers)
At $1,118.01 we are at 44% of our total goal of $2,500
At 10 people one the team we are at 40% or our total goal.
If everyone here donates $2.00 we will raise a minimum of $2,996
Right now we are number 25 out of 106 teams raising money. I think we can hit top 10 fairly easily.
