walk 4 friendship
Hey MCC'ers
I just wanted to give you an update on the walk4friendship.
I send out a slew of email yesterday, and got some good responses.
$311 dollars raised so far, which is 12.4% of our total goal of 2500.
If you haven't seen the page with corporate sponsors we are in VERY good company.
One of the most frequently questions I am getting is about time.
Registration is at 12, the walk starts at 1, there is a 3k track and a 5 k track. After which come a public fair. Until 4 or 5 ( whenever people stay until)
Any level of participation is appreciated
If you would like to sign up to walk, donate, send your own emails, really anything you do is helpful.
I everyone here gave $5 we would raise over 7 thousand dollars. Our goal is only 2500.
Fell free to ask questions on this forum or email me privately.
I think I speak for everyone who came last year. It is quite an event.

I'm looking forward to "netwalking" with all of the MCC folks. I'm hiking the 5K course to burn off enough calories for an end of summer ice cream sundae. Care to buddy up? Drop me a line.
It's super easy to donate online. It's safe and secure. It takes less than two minutes. Grab your credit card and send a couple of bucks to Friendship Circle to help the kids.

Hi Ben! I just did my online donation and it was very easy to navigate and complete. One question though, is there a Ben Rosenzweig team or MCC team or something we needed to designate to help you reach your goal? I missed that part if there is and my contribution went into the general fund. Just wanted you to know in case you needed to check on who from MCC participated. If it's all one pool of funds, then I guess we're fine. Good luck in the walk and in surpassing the financial goal you set!
All my best,
Lori
