Kids Health Day & Back-to School Fair

My organization will be hosting a Kids Health Fair on Sat. Sept 6 @ Youthville Detroit, and we are looking for any in-kind health related donations that you may be able to contribute. 2008 HEALTHY KIDS BACK TO SCHOOL EXPO

We are pleased to present the First Annual 2008 "DETROIT HEALTHY KIDS BACK-TO-SCHOOL EXPO".

The 2008 Detroit Healthy Kids Back-to-School Expo is a citywide annual event that is designed to educate minority youth about living healthy lifestyles through physical activity and nutrition. Youth will participate in a day of interactive activities and engage in a variety of fun, entertaining, and educational series of 8 stations, rotating every 20 minutes. Stations include yoga, karate, healthy food preparation, nutritional education activities, exercise techniques, diet assessments, educational health related games, and health screenings. Current sponsors include Vitamin Water, 50 Million Pound Challenge, State Farm Agency,Henry Ford Health System, Jazzy Kat, Detroit Martial Arts Academy, and Detroit Department of Health.

Free Fun, Food,Games, Prizes, Free Give-a-ways, Special Appearances from NFL Players , Live DJ ..If you have kids, nieces, nephews, family, neighbors kids, or know of other parents that may be interested...please spread the word!!
