Networking issue - Dell ProBook 6550b
I have been having issues with my unit not finding an internet connection and also at times not shutting down unless I just kill it. Today no matter what I did it would not pick up a wifi signal or even signal when wire plugged. The other night I kept hearing a clicking noise like I used to hear when a hard drive was going out. Today I was able to finally get it loaded so I could get some critical documents off but it would not show pictures . It was not loading fully. I was thinking it might be a network card but on this lap top it is probably a chip on the board. Any help would be appreciated.
Running: Windows 7 with all updates. Was able to run C cleaner, malware bytes, and tuneup utilities today and made sure it was clean because I was going to do a back up . Could not get to the backup with all the issues.
