"LIFE REMODELED" to 'Remodel' DENBY NEIGHBORHOOD Next Week!
Here's a fantastic way to 'PAY IT FORWARD' and show the nation that we "Detroiters" (including the suburbs) come together to help others in need!
NEXT WEEK (August 1-6), the non-profit "LIFE REMODELED" is planning to do the following in the “DENBY” area of Detroit:
- Build a new park, adjacent to Denby High School – installing recreation amenities, green spaces, and landscaping in line with the vision developed by Denby High students
- Help “LifeBuilders” build their new community center
- Renovate 50 homes
- Remove blight and beautify 300 city blocks
- Board up 300 houses
- Demarcate safe pathways to school
