GREAT News about tomorrow AND a bonus for you

I don't use the term HERO often. I, like many of you, feel the world needs more of them. Well, I was blessed to have met a real live one back in 2009. Dafna Michaelson Jenet decided to take a little tour across the country. She went to every state in 52 weeks interviewing everyday leaders making a difference in her 50 in 52 journey.

Today she is in Detroit speaking at the Point of Light Foundation leadership meeting (you may recall the 1000 points of light initiative by the first President Bush...it's now his foundation). She's going to take time out of her soon to be triumphant run for state representative in Colorado to come visit our group tomorrow. She's a ball of energy who knows how to build community and empower others. I am certain she will share some amazing stories with us and leave us ready to THINK and BE bigger!!

I really want a few of you to join us at BDs Mongolian Grill in Royal Oak from 11:30-1:00 (FB event page). Let's give this great lady a warm Motor City Connect welcome.
