MCC hit 1000 members!!! + a networking tip
Congratulations good people of MCC land on your 1000th member!
That is a tremendous milestone for any group. Seems like just 3 short months ago we had 331 members (seems that way cuz it was that way).
I would like to introduce our 1000th member, Ms. Sharon Agustin. You can learn more about her here.
Motorcityconnect is a very powerful business community that you can tap into for so many things: Individual growth, new business partners, staying abreast of current events, making a difference in the community, finding employees/employment and growing your business.
Since I do a lot of training on how to be an effective networker, I would like to offer this tip: If you are at a networking event and don't have access to the list of attendees, introduce yourself to the host. Tell them who the type of person you most want to meet and ask them if they will make an introduction for you. Since they created the list, they know who is there and will likely be happy to help you both.
Speaking of great tips and even better networking, be sure to RSVP for our BIG networking event tomorrow. You will learn new things about networking and business growth that you can immediately implement. Comcast Business is sponsoring the event and we are expecting this to be an outstanding evening.
As always, do let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

I personally would love to see MCC hit 2000 by the end of summer (we've got 3 months). If everyone who attends an event would invite a friend to the next one...it will happen.
I say share the wealth and get more on board to MCC. The bigger we are, the more that can be brought to the table.
So write those emails and make those phone calls, all you have to do is share and ask. It reallly is that easy and it really works!
What did you find benefcial at the last event you went to?
