Looking to Buy a Used Computer

I'm in need of a couple additional computers and don't really need all the latest specs. I'm thinking I might be able to pick up computers that are 2-3 years old for a fairly decent amount. But, just like buying a used car, one has to be careful! So, I'm looking for feedback & connections on this strategy. Many thanks.

Drew, one person you should check with is Jason Tatseos, of Fear Not Computers. He's an MCC member, and I know he's said that he sells refurbished computers at a good price when I've met him at MCC Live! lunches. I know you can send him a private email message from his profile page.
Good luck!
Check out Silicon Alley. Ron was recommended to me by a fellow LBN member. (And they're non-profit!)

If those don't work, I can hook you up.
Call Curt; he is a personal property appraiser and has many items available for sale. He said he has some computers, but has not yet been authorized to sell. He will let you know when he can, and exactly what he has.

Drew,
We can also help you. We have used computers (desktops and laptops), printers, routers, switches, etc. Let me know what programs you are looking to run and/or specs.
