How did you enjoy the show? The thought Frank Zappa is deceased.
Frank is dead, unfortunately... (or maybe his death was faked and he's living in Montana as a dental floss tycoon).
I saw him live several times at the Grande Ballroom (alas, it was decades ago)... and on a BBC special in which the Mothers of Invention played alternating sets with the London Philharmonic (all Zappa compositions). Final set was the Mothers and the Philharmonic together. After the performance, they interviewed some of the Philharmonic members (who were all about 80 years old) - who said they considered Frank Zappa one of the greatest composers of the 20th century, and were honored to play his music.
So, Dan - do you know - - Who are the Brain Police?

Frank is dead. His son Dweizel is touring and plaing with the band. They were awsome!!!
the Festival was the best one I have ever been to. I will be wrtitng a full on article on it soon. and will fill you in more.
