It is my honor to serve as the Exhibit Coordinator for the Travel, Transportation, and Tourism Pavilion at the 2008 International Black Expo Buy Black Weekend, to be held June 6-8, 2008 at Cobo Hall. Last year was a tremendous success with over 76,000 attendees. This year we are expecting at least 100,000 attendees. The Buy Black Weekend is one of the nation's largest African American consumer expos.

We envision a wide variety of vendors for the TTT Pavilion, including: hotels, resorts (golf, spa, ski, etc.), limousine companies, cab companies, party bus and tour bus companies, visitors and convention bureaus, camping/RV, event planners, family reunion planners, travel agencies, tour operators, specialty groups like travel clubs, ski clubs, scuba diving clubs, etc., dive shops, pro shops, amusement/water parks, and more. Vendors are encouraged to offer special Buy Black Weekend pricing to promote vacation packages, coupons, sell goods and memberships, offer prizes for giveaways, and build their databases with tons of leads!

This will be the place to be to showcase your business or service. There will be 21 pavilions, including Real Estate, Health & Wellness, Auto Mall, Kid's World, Pamper Me, Staffing, Cosmetology, College Hill, Finance, Soul Food Court, Culture & Literary Arts, Insurance, Techville, and more. Every pavilion will be its own mini-expo! So, basically anyone with any type of business will want to be there! A minimal deposit of $100 will lock in booth space!

Who will be exhibiting at the International Detroit Black Expo?

* IDBE will showcase an anticipated 1,000 black-owned businesses with more than 100 government, education, corporate and civic partners, all of which want to do business with the African American community. What can you achieve as a corporate partner?
* Increase your consumer market share with a highly lucrative and loyal African-American community.
* Gain intimate exposure for new and/or existing products, services and marketing campaigns.
* Identify potential African-American sub-contractual opportunities for partnership, hiring and consultation.
* Identify potential candidates for employment opportunities and internships.
* Promote African-American employees through educational, networking, exhibition and social opportunities. Show by actions, not just words, and the commitment your corporation shares for the progression of the African-American business and the consumer community.

We would be honored if you would participate. Please review the attached information for vendor details. Someone from our sales team will follow up with you in a few days. Feel free to call me with questions/comments.

Best Regards,
