Come-on gang let's support Blight Busters!
Thank you Ryan for being the tenth person to commit to the May 31st Blight Busters event. That means we only need to have ninety more people get involved to make this a meaningfull event. Is that really too much to ask people? We have over 770 members now and hopefully by the time May 31st rolls along we will number over a thousand. We all spout the group rhetoric that we're about giving, is it too much to ask of giving people for a mere 10% of our membership to back this effort?
I said it long time ago, if you want to get noticed you have to make a commitment and deliver. Not just deliver, but deliver beyond expectations. Don't be paper Tigers, back this effort and let MCC roar!
We only need ninety more people to commit, but this is most likely idyle fantasy, 200 would be better.

Just an FYI, you can click here to RSVP for this.
As someone who has worked a few cleanups in the city, I can tell you it can be a lot of fun doing great work!
I'm all for fun.
Can I have a sledge hammer? It's always us quiet ones that are the most distructive.
LOL - I don't know, Duane, for this one. I hope so.
On a slight tangent, has anyone ever been to a "Harvey Wallbanger" party? They can be fun. That's where you get all your friends to demolish a wall in your house (or destroy something) that needs demolishing - while providing wine and cheese (or Harvey Wallbangers).
And then everyone gets to take a piece home :-) Usually good for houses with lots of parties or establishments such as coffeeshops or a bar with a lot of community history.
12 and counting. Thanks Charlie and Leah. Come on gang only 98 to go. Go Blightbusters!
we painted, we nailed, MCC prevailed
You notice I said 98 to go when I said it would be nice if we could get 100 people to attend. Well now I'm upping my ask to 110. The reason is I'm charging the group a 10% late fee for slow registration. Register
please!
Welcome to the fun Walt.
Way to go, telcom guy rocks
