Update on OKE and error in Life Remodeled Link

Sorry for the back to back messages. I screwed up a very important link for Life Remodeled in yesterday's note that should have gone HERE and I wanted to send an update on OKE.

Some very important things happened yesterday for Operation: Kid Equip that I wanted to share.

For starters, you can stay up to date by visiting their FACEBOOK PAGE.

Perhaps you heard that their building was flooded on Wednesday (story channel 7 ran) and they lost tens of thousands of dollars worth of supplies. All of which are set to be distributed in the next 30 days. 

They NEED to replace them. NOW. We are putting together SEVERAL locations throughout the area for you to bring goods. On Sunday, Stephanie Puertas of Stay & Play Social Club will be at O'Tooles in Royal Oak accepting donation from 11-9.

On Wednesday we are going to be running multiple locations throughout the area (Shark Club in Waterford, Red Ox in both Auburn Hills and Utica, Shield's Pizza in Southfield and Rosie O'gradies in Ferndale) from 6-9. It would be great to have volunteers to collect the goods and even better to have some of you bring goods ;-)

HERE is a list of common supplies they need. Meijer, Wal-Mart and Target are gearing up for back to school and supplies are at great prices now. One thing that isn't on that list is money. They always need that too. You can DONATE HERE.
