I have a client looking to transfer some older records to cd format to listen to now. The record player no longer plays and she would like to update. Anyone???

Here's a link to one of my favorite stores selling a turntable that outputs to a USB - this is also available at Best Buy, but for $60 more. Never used it myself.
What you'd want to do is record it to the computer, and then burn CDs from the computer.
There is another unit that is more expensive but I've heard great things about because it's simple - but it doesn't require a computer and does a straight conversion to CD.

Thank you Spencer. Have you tried any of the solutions? My client is not super techie savvy and wants ease.
Has anyone done this (transferred) or are we just all hanging onto the old vinyls for sentimental reasons?

How many are your transferring, perchance?
Around 50 total, it could be more or less. There may be 45's mixed in as well.
