Adjunct Faculty Opportunity

Over the last several weeks, I have been working on building a relationship with Coscend Communication Solutions that would lead to an employment agreement.  Coscend is a very progressive startup IT Service company focused on the Communications industry (http://coscendcommunications.com/) and my role with them would be in the area of Business Development/Sales.  This is really good news and leads to my Ask.

I have an MBA, am good with people, and have delivered seminars/classes. I am interested in meeting faculty recruiters at Oakland University, Walsh College, Baker College (or the larger universities that run executive MBA programs in SE MI).  The reason I would like to speak with them is to discuss the opportunity of teaching a class or two at their school.  The benefits to the school are: 1) Field experience, 2) Academic credentials (engineering degree and MBA), 3) demonstrated ability to deliver training/development programs.  Benefits to me are; 1) Support desire to make a difference in an individual's life, 2) A few extra dollars (startups generally have a long term focused compensation plan).

By the way, regardless of the outcome of my negotiation with Coscend, I would love the opportunity to be involved in some type of college level instruction.
