PLEASE, PLEASE READ-

I just sent this blast:

One of our members sent me a note last week talking about why bother spending time in Detroit. While he loves it, he has "wasted" enough time and energy trying to change it and has given up. He stated that he hopes to see something good in his lifetime but really isn't convinced it will happen. His note got me thinking, which led me to writing the following:

Believe there is positive change in Detroit...

Detroit is ready for change. Not just the tiny incremental change that no one notices, but the type that defies logic and makes us the comeback story of the decade. 

The timing is right. This place is right. The energy is right. The only challenge is that the mindset is way wrong.

The good news is that is totally ready to be changed too. And change it will. Fast. It's a shockingly small number of people who need to be receptive to the idea of change before we can actually experience change in the collective consciousness of the Detroit area.

Once a change in our collective consciousness happens real change becomes possible. 313Dlove is a movement to make that change happen faster.

We will enroll Detroit's faith based community. We will enroll the local media. We will enroll business professionals of every color, faith and ethnicity. The bottom line is everyone needs to come to this message (read truth) through whatever way is most familiar to them. And the truth is this:

MCC Live West August 14 For all our west siders, we have been having great meetings at Uptown Grill in Commerce. Come join us and see what all the fuss is about from 11:30-1:00.

MCC Live Royal Oak August 28- The only networking event that may be better than MCC Live West is MCC Live Royal Oak. Of course I'm biased but that doesn't necessarily make me wrong ;-) Hope to see you on Tuesday, August 28 from 11:30-1 at Basstone.
