Best Practices for our File Upload and Media Section

Alright , honestly I am not a big fan of something like a "Police man" role myself... But the truth is what I am doing is more of a "helper and a facilitator" role not a "policeman" job in bringing out these useful tips / guidelines.

On behalf of the MCC board we came up with some guidelines (Note not "rules" ) to help maintain out Files and media section a little bit more cleaner.I would like to share with those with all.

Please contact me if you need help with  the question "Then what am I supposed to do to share our own Logo, Personal flyers etc" I have the solution for you !!

Guidelines:

* Files uploaded should be of "benefit for all" belief, as much as possible.
* All personal images (Logo, images for own profiles etc) must be hosted on their own, in a different host.
* All self promotion material own flyers / own Posters must be hosted on their own, in a different host.
* Flyers and Ads for events (Business, Charity) - it is the responsibility of people, who uploads to remove the files after the event.

Why Have Guidelines?

* Philosophy of common benefit of all of us, for courtesy sake.
* 25MB space limit in CX, lets use it wisely.
* Most files/links that are being uploaded to MCC are repeated / duplicated from your own or different site. So why repeat it?
