School Supplies & Hygiene Products NEEDED!

I am collecting NEW school supplies for Operation KidEquip. They are a pet charity of the MCC family. OKE helps thousands of children in the tri county area get the school supplies necessary to succeed in school. These supplies often need to be replenished mid year as paper get used up, crayons get broken and glue sticks get lost. This is a much harder time of year for OKE to get donations as everyone's focus is on Christmas & there aren't as many school supply sales. They also run a teacher's annex to help teachers receive necessary supplies for their classrooms FREE OF CHARGE. This is an all volunteer organization.If you can drop off donations of notebooks or glue sticks, markers etc (complete list available on their website www.operationkidequip.org). to my store in Harrison Twp it would be greatly appreciated. Or you can make arrangements to drop off at the Annex in Troy.

I am also trying to get a few local dentists to contribute NEW toothbrushes and toothpaste maybe even some dental floss for the kids.

If you are able to donate any sample size shampoos, conditioners, lotions etc...Perhaps you work at a hotel that would be interested in a last minute write off for 2011?

And of course we always accept cash donations to help cover operating expenses such as rent or freight for donate supplies from manufactures.
