Adopt a baseball team?

MBC Global has received a request that is tugging on our hearts and thought perhaps MCC members would want to help or know of someone that could help (IE: Detroit Tigers). A handicapped man has requested used baseballs, bats, and gloves to start a baseball club in Tema, Ghana, Africa.
If you know of anyone that would have access to these items, or that would help finance shipping them once we have them, please contact me. (rick@mbcglobal.org).

We have been fortunate to find a donor for used baseball equipment, now we are looking for someone that can transport them from Oakland County to Tema, Ghana. If anybody has a contact at FedEx, UPS, Airborne, or some other transit company please contact me by replying to this message. Thank you!
