MARKETING INTERN OPPORTUNITY AND POSITION DESCRIPTION

Tendras Business Advisors provides consulting and guidance to companies who are implementing business and financial management solutions.

We are looking for a marketing assistant/intern to assist in the following:

• Prospect/Customer Information Management - researching companies online, and maintaining a CRM database.


• Coordinate our participation and attend webinars, local events and local trade shows, helping to manage the scheduling and details.


• Engage by phone and email with prospects that respond to our marketing campaigns - this is NOT telemarketing and this is NOT a high pressure sales environment.


• Help maintain our social media presence and help us to strengthen our image through LinkedIn, Facebook, and our blogs.

If the following sounds like you, we need to talk:

• You are a college student, preferably in a marketing, communications or a business related degree, and looking for a paid internship in a growing and vibrant business environment.


• You can start immediately and work at least part time - and possibly more in summer.


• You are highly accomplished around social media, have very strong skills with Microsoft Office, and ideally some experience with Salesforce.com or Microsoft CRM.


• You learn quickly, have a strong work ethic, and can work independently.


• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills - and people know it when they talk with you. You absolutely must have a professional presence and appearance.


• You thrive in a high-energy fast-paced environment - and will help us to drive the team toward achieving measurable goals.


• You recognize the urgency of a new job posting, and will respond in 24 hours or less with a resume and a compelling cover letter that makes us drop what we are doing and call you in.
