Better. Together-Connect the D...You're a good man, Charlie Brown

The stronger Detroit is, the stronger our region is and frankly the better off the whole world is. WE are Innovators. We are leaders. We are catalysts for HUGE things to happen. We always have been. We always will be. The past few years we have been like a butterfly waiting to emerge from the cocoon. Guess what? The chrysalis period is about to end. We are ready for flight. Imagine the rest of the world cheering us on as we spread our beautiful wings and soar…AGAIN. To quote a famous Detroiter, “This is what we do!”

We do it better. together.

That’s actually been one of MCC’s slogans for a long time. Why? Because we know it to be true. Michael Cousins has a cool graphics business and produces T-shirts. The shirt he wore to Tuesday’s meeting said “Be the change you wish to see in the D.”. I’ve written those same words here numerous times. The change occurs faster when more people are on board and heading in the same direction. This is why I keep touting:

The BIG Tuesday lunch

Our lunches are growing again and the format is very cool. This past Tuesday 25 people engaged in conversation about Relationship Marketing. One for my mom

My mother has been involved in the theater her entire life. She currently runs a Youth Group in Canton called Spotlight on Youth. In May they are doing a production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”. I know the kids will be working hard on this and would LOVE your support.  The show run May 12-May 15. There are performances at 7:00 every day and on Saturday and Sunday there are 2:00 performances as well. All seats are $12.00.
