Great Networkers are in the know/ Let's Connect the D
I just sent this blast:
One of my favorite things about being an active networker is all the cool things you're invited to do. Networkers are really in the know when it comes to events. Good networkers know which ones are right for people in their network and invite them along. It is truly awesome when a group of committed connectors get together (David Glenn is great at this).
Here are some wonderful opportunities to get together and make most excellent things happen!
1. Connect the D.
Some of you may know that I'm a fan of Detroit. We are making a significant comeback. And while it will happen without you, it would happen much quicker with you.
One of the biggest challenges our region has faced is too many groups doing too many things in a vacuum (read 5 big ideas for a better Detroit for more insight). I said "has faced", because the Connect the D. Movement is all about getting all of the community leaders to one place. On one platform (graciously supplied by PeopleMovers).
The goal of Connect the D is simple...to make a stronger region through collaborative effort. We are well on our way and would LOVE for you to join us. Sign up is simple (you can use your facebook login or create a new account). Join the Connect the D movement HERE.
While you are there I'd ASK that you join our MCC Community and Friend me.
2. MCC Live Royal Oak-
11:15 Tuesday, April 26 at BDs Mongollian. Where else can get your connect, your learn AND your stir-fry ON in one place? That's right! No Where ;-)
As an added bonus, my good friend Charlie Wollborg has created another contest for you to win a lunch. All you have to do is answer "where are the top 3 local places you would take an out of town guest?"
This Tuesday's theme will be the evolution of relationship marketing. You will learn and share new ideas on how to grow your business now!!
3. Bases for boobies
I can't tell you how often I've wanted to write "boobies" in an MCC blast (ok, I've never really thought about it but now that I have I may have to figure out how to do it again ;-)
Our friends at Stay and Play Social Club have put together a kickball tournament (facebook page to read more about it) that raises funds to kick out breast cancer. This promises to be a BLAST that supports a great cause. I'm sorry for the late notice, but if you're interested in playing, you'll want to sign up HERE by noon today so you can get your shirt. Ill be playing on team "Rack Star".
4. Steak & Burger dinner for the Boys & Girls Club.
The 22nd Annual Steak & Burger Dinner Event at Meadowbrook Mansion at 5pm for the VIP Reception April 27th. This is a great event that supports children who need it! I love watching their faces as they chomp on steak and the adults eat burgers. You will leave here feeling great about being there. If you're interested in being a sponsor or attending, be sure to contact Keith Stonehouse.
I am very proud of the work MCC has done to get us better connected. I am grateful for our caring and supportive members. I hope you will take a moment and consider these opportunities.
All my best!
Terry Bean

Thank you so much for adding this Terry!
I just hope the people & businesses of MCC truly understand not only the impact of being a part of this event in one way or another personally but, more so the impact that it has on their business - GREAT PR!
Thanks again Terry,
Keith

Thank you.
I agree,
I think that the metro detoit area as well as Detroit itself has to realize that whatever effects Detroit, effects the entire STATE! Having forums like this is an execellent what for people to voice their opinion.
Helping others is always a good thing. At some point the laws of sowing and reaping come back and the helper benefits as well.
