Networking for success

I invite all members of Motor City Connect to the Troy Public Library to hear my presentation "How to Turn Networking Events into Succes Stories". The 90-minute presentation, which will offer great networking opportunities within the event, begins Wednesday evening, March 6, at 7:30 and is absolutely free.

Although many of you are already fabulous at networking, everyone should be able to pick up a golden nugget or two as we discuss:

• The main reasons networking doesn't work


• The thought process of successful networkers


• Identifying "good contacts" in 20 seconds


• Getting out of the "shadows"


• Passing off those that are not right for you


• Business Cards: Quantity or quality


• Follow-up processes that work
