The Pink Fund

If you or someone you know has had breast cancer, you understand the devastation that occurs financially - even with the best insurance coverage.

The Pink Fund provides short-term financial assistance - in the form of direct bill payment - for people whose stream of income has been lost or greatly reduced as a result of a breast cancer diagnosis.

If you are a store-front business owner willing to help The Pink Fund, please contact them regarding the PINK PIG PROGRAM - put a pig on your counter for 30 days and encourage your customers to donate their loose change.

If you are an office-based business owner or employee, please contact The Pink Fund in regards to holding a fund-raising activity.

Or, simply write a donation check to help one breast cancer patient pay an electric bill, a mortgage payment, or a health insurance premium.

I had uterine cancer, so was not a candidate for assistance from The Pink Fund - but over the last years I have worked with this organization and seen the good they have done in helping people stave off foreclosure or utility shut-offs during the most challenging times of their lives.

And so my ask here at MCC is that the troops gather, as they have for so many other organizations, and support THE PINK FUND.
