Bring Fear and Reason to Your Town

Ferndale Rally and March - October 30, 2010.  Meet to get signs together at 11am then a small march from AJs to the other side of Woodward and back, return to AJs by noon so we can watch the DC rally and have our own.

One reason I am doing this is to maybe expose people that may not be Ferndale regulars to our town but the main reason I am doing this is reason.  We seem to be losing our ability as a society to have differing opinions without someone losing an eye.   We may be a small group, or it may be larger than anticipated, who knows?  I think it would be nice if change could be made through reasonable discussion instead of arm waving, hitting, and name calling.  All political, religious, social, or other opinions welcome - just be reasonable and willing to allow others to have their own opinion.

I am amazed by how many countries let alone other towns are involved in this! 

If you are not familiar with the Jon Stewart / Steven Colbert efforts, go to the main page for Sanity  for details about the Washington event, or the Colbert site if you are more into Keeping Fear Alive (yes, we take those too!).

And remember - no hitting, biting, or loud irrational behavior.  Well, you can behave irrationally.  We'll just ignore it.
