Channel 4 Best of Detroit- Maceri's Soup and Scoop

Lori Maceri is one of my favorite people and I know I'm not the only to say that. She has been tremendously supportive of MCC, Blood, Sweat and Gear and tons of other groups/activities. In addition to that her shop has great soup, ice cream and delicious sandwiches.

The Pepsi Refresh Everything Challenge- EmpowerMind

As you may recall from earlier this year, Pepsi decided to not spend Millions on SuperBowl advertising and put $60 million up for prizes for big ideas to improve our country.

Kimberly Kassner of Empowermind has a program to improve the Educational System in Detroit. The $250k she can win will go a long way. You can vote HERE.

GE's "Ecomagination" Challenge

GE's Ecomagination Challenge is a $200 million call to action to build the next-generation power grid to meet the needs of the 21st century.

Jim Jung and team have created a multi passenger (think train) unit that runs above ground (think monorail) powered by hydrogen (think hydrogen). You are going to want to check out and vote for my friend Jim Jung's entry for "Interstate travel HYRAIL"

Walk For Friendship

Networking master and great guy Ben Rosenzweig (1st time I've ever spelled his name right on the first try) has been involved with this for many years.
