Stephen was gracious enough to come check out the buzz about Blood, Sweat and Gear and put together a story about the work Blightbusters is doing (hope to have him do the same for Operation Kid Equip soon). This story will air tonight on the 6:00 news (assuming it stays a relatively normal news day). Take a few minutes and watch it. Hopefully you will feel enough pride in what your group is doing that YOU want to BE A PART OF IT.

Interesting press conference

Speaking of Blightbusters, Andy Dillon (who is running for Governor) will be holding a press conference tomorrow, Friday 7/23 at Blightbusters at 11:00 a.m. He will be outlining his urban strategy. I don't know about you, but I am very interested in a MUCH BETTER Detroit! (this by no means indicates my support of Mr. Dillon or his campaign, but Mr. Dave Bing just endorsed him and that certainly means a lot).
