NAWBO of Greater Detroit partners with MCC and you get...
I just sent this blast:
An extra 38.5 hours to save on tickets for Bob Burg. How very exciting. That's right, we have extended the "Early Burg" Special until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, June 11.
We are pleased to announce that NAWBO of Greater Detroit is a community partner for our Bob Burg event on June 30. NAWBO is the National Association of Women Business Owners and their mission simply stated is to empower entrepreneurial women in their quest for business success. You can learn more about NAWBO by clicking the link above.
Two more really cool things that are happening at NAWBO today:
1. Our good friend and long time Motor City Connect advocate Linda Anger will be receiving the Pioneering Spirit Award. This award is given to a person who "is doing something no one has done before or who has attempted something against all odds." Way to go Linda. We're all behind you!
2. Our other good friend Jill Jordan will be installed as the new Executive Director. You can bet we will be having more joint events.
I'm very excited for both ladies. Congratulations you two!
Don't forget to take advantage of the extended "Early Burg Special" and get your tickets to see the FABULOUS Mr. Bob Burg NOW!!!!
I am holding a training on how to get more referrals and make more money next Wednesday. Check it out HERE.
btw, thanks for the great comments on my blog post from yesterday's message. I enjoyed writing it and am glad so many of you found value in reading it. It's totally worth the two moments ;-)

Thank you for the call-out in this, Terry! The NAWBO event today was inspiring! I have been a member for 10 years. In that time, there have been many twists in the path but the organization has remained a mainstay in the greater Detroit business community.
I was very honored to receive the "Pioneering Spirit" Award, and so very, very delighted that my dear friend Jill Jordan has so graciously (and enthusiastically) accepted the Executive Director position.
It's "All Hands on Deck" and "Hold on to your Hats" for NAWBO and MCC from now on - great things will be happening!
With gratitude,
Linda
Linda! Congratulations to you and your award this past week at the NAWBO luncheon! I felt very honored to among so many distinguished women in their fields. Being new to NAWBO - 1st year anniversay approaching, I have been in awe of the women I have met and truly believe it was my smartest business decision to date. Receiving the Community Service award was also a true honor my first year in business! I have strived to give back to the communities in which we serve and also make a name for my company - to show that its not always about the dollar, but about people and that we can all make a difference - one person at a time! Again! CONGRATULATONS! You were truly deserving of this award!
Sincerely,
Traci Adamczyk,

Thank you, Traci, and CONGRATS to you, too! NAWBO truly is a wonderful organization, with many opportunities for all of us to learn and grow. That you were an award winner after only one year in business says a great deal about you and your company.
Hope to see you at future NAWBO events -
Make your day magnificent!
