The most important words

I have the great honor of being one of the final speakers at MotorCityConnect's third birthday party celebration. 

Terry Bean and Charlie Wollborg have created an amazing buzz in southeastern Michigan thanks to their clever marketing, oratorical talents and raw energy. 

It's a privilege to hang with them.  When they let me.

My topic is communication and so I'll be talking about the power of words, both online and off. 

The most valuable part of speech, as you may know, is the adjective.  Remarkably underutilized, a positive adjective can make the most ugly noun seem more attractive.  Adjectives are very helpful in advertising copy, social media applications and marketing in general, yet most people use them all wrong.

Watch for a FUNNY, LIVE demo tomorrow, featuring two surprised members of the audience, as I demonstrate the power of the adjective.

I'll also be sharing the 15 most powerful words you can ever use with another person.  Five of the words are "I am proud of you."
