My thoughts before this Landmark event

In 38 hours, Motor City Connect will throw the biggest party of our career. It is with great excitement and anticipation that I write this.

I am grateful for our sponsors and blown away by their support.

It's interesting, I don't even know Mark Dollan of Salesfire.com who is snatched up the presenting sponsor within 4 hours of it being offered. Truth be told, when I saw the purchase come through in my e-mail, I thought he must have clicked the wrong button.

I think it's great that Scate Technologies and Graceful Credit Solutions are on board. I am a huge fan of both companies and have become fast friends with the founders of each (Steve Sadler and Earl Carruthers respectively).

CMG Leasing, Flood Law, Time's Up, Knowledge Crush, Metro Mastermind Alliance have all stepped up to support the cause. Thank you. And thank you to Snapfuze. I think the addition of your organizaiton to the line up will make it even more fun.

We have the most amazing line-up of speakers and that is totally awesome. I am convinced that you could search the world over and wouldn't find a better lecture series anywhere on March 26, 2010. I feel like calling Guiness to let them know some sort of cool record is being made.

I am excited about the exhibitors, the attendees and the CAKE. Special thanks to Lori Maceri of Soup and Scoop for putting it together. I can't wait to see it and smear it in someone's face ;-)

We are going to absolutely pack the place. There will be tons of connections made, information exchanged and opportunities created. I feel blessed to be part of such a great group.

I am looking forward to sharing this time with all of you. We will remember and celebrate the past, embrace the present and create a better future!
