Shortest Note ever, but of vital importance
I just sent this blast:
I missed two things in last night's note, but I think I did that consciously.
LINDA ANGER
Many of you know Linda Anger and the impact she has had on our community and this group specifically. She has been a good friend to many and has always been a tremendous supporter of all things great!
Well, we now have the opportunity to support her. The how's, when's and where's have yet to be decided but here is the why:
Linda will be undergoing chemotherapy. She was recently diagnosed with cancer and while they were successful in removing most of it, there is still some work to do. Sadly, Linda, doesn't have health insurance. We will be doing a few different things for her in the coming month. Natalie Brudred will be spearheading this from MCC's perspective and working with a great team to pull it off.
HERE is the rest of the conversation.
BACKPACK STUFFING TOMORROW
We raised all of this great gear...now we have to do something with it. I am leaving soon to drop off about 40 cases of notebooks and enough glue to keep 27 kids high (glue sniffing joke) for the next 9 years.
We will be stuffing backpacks tomorrow at Troy Oaks Church on Crooks from 9-5. You don't have to be there all day, but we would love to see your shining face. This would be a great way to encourage your children to give back too! They will love it (disclaimer, Terry has zero idea as to what your children will love).
HERE is a schedule of additional days to help stuff backpacks.
Thanks for your support of these very important initiatives.
Terry Bean
