I'd like to hear some things you all are interested in doing this summer.
I'm thinking that i'd like to eventually invite you all to a BBQ of some sort sometime soon at kensington or whatever park that would be willing to host.
What are your thoughts?

I was just looking at Marsh Bank (on Cass lake) on Tuesday for this exact purpose Chris. Seems like a good ideea to me. Evidently you're in?? Would love to see this happen in a few different places this summer.
Thanks for bringing this up.
An MCC Barbeque? We could roast Terry Bean:)
The idea sounds great. But Kensington is a ways out from the local area. Dodge Park in Sterling Heights is a very nice place for a BBQ and so is Brandenburg Park in Chesterfield as it's right on Lake St. Clair. Just some other location ideas.
@terry Yeah that sounds good. I just have to get an idea who'd all be going.
LOCATIONS:
Nice park on Square Lake between Coolidge & Crooks. Also one at Crooks south of Long Lake.
Both have baseball diamonds, so we could have some fun with that also!
The park on Square Lake or the Cass Lake park sounds good. Pretty Centralized.
If memory serves me right, the park on Square Lake road has a frizbee golf course. Good for some laughs if I'm playing.
I'm actually right near Kensington, so that location is great for me. However, I do know that their picnic pavilions are booked up to a year in advance, so you may be out of luck.
My suggestion would be some place more central, like perhaps in Southfield. The far east side is too far east, and Kensington is too far west, so what's in between?

Marsh Bank Park is on Hiller Road between Commerce and Cooley Lake Road in West Bloomfield. I would be a nice park to have a picnic at. Not as big as Kensington, also not as super busy in the summer. Marsh Bank is a quiet little park right near my house.
All,
Did you ever have the Picnic?
I'm hungry for Corn on the Cob and Fresh Tomato's and everything sounded like fun?
