When you test-drive a Ford vehicle between April 21, 2009 and June 1, 2009,  Ford Motor Company will donate $20 on your behalf to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, as part of their ongoing commitment to the fight against breast cancer.

The email below explains a bit more about the Plan/Registration:

The Ford Advantage Plan, launched in late March, is all about the advantages of buying a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury product. And, it's about doing business with a company that shows its commitment to the community.

We are pleased to announce today the launch of the community engagement phase of the plan.

It's called the Ford Advantage Test Drive and further supports Ford's 15-year relationship with Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Now through June 1, Ford will donate $20 for every test drive taken at a participating Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealership to Komen - up to $1 million.

That amount could grow even higher as more than a thousand dealers around the country are joining in to match the company's donation. Customers will be able to select the local Komen affiliate of their choice to direct the contribution.

Over the past 15 years, Ford, along with its employees, retirees and extended family, have contributed more than $100 million to the fight against breast cancer.

Please help us do even more. Many employees have already used Facebook and e-mail lists to spread the word about the Ford Advantage plan. For the test drive, encourage as many of your friends and family to participate. It's easy.

To participate, log on to www.fordcares.com. Obtain a registration form and registration number. Then just visit a dealership and take a test drive. You'll need to go back to www.fordcares.com again with information from the dealer to validate your drive so the donation is made in your name.

And to support this effort to help you put more people behind the wheel of a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury, we're announcing today that all eligible employees and retirees will receive 2 incremental X Plan Pins for a total of 6 for the 2009 Calendar Year. These additional X Plan pins are governed under the same rules as the existing X Plan Pins. Just log into http://www.AXZ.ford.com to send a PIN, it's also very easy!!
