Thank you, MCC!
We wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for coming out to the MCC Social and friendraiser for Operation: Kid Equip last night. We enjoyed the casual social and raising friends for the kids we will serve in Southeastern Michigan.
We also raised funds for our Fall program starting in a couple months. With the $300 we raised, we were able to complete the budget for the 240 backpack distribution in the Avondale Schools District -AND- are able to give free school supplies to a classroom in Hazel Park. We already have teacher and parent applications that total to over 600 students for the Fall.

Whether you are a donor, supporter or a new friend, thanks again for a wonderful evening and helping OKE put more school supplies into the hands of local kids who need them the most.

Thank you Menachem and Mike for taking on such a worthy cause. I am glad so many of our members stopped by to learn aboug the great work you are doing. It was a nice turnout with 65 people there. Looking forward to the next one.
I have to give a shout out to my new favorite person, Miss Tee Thompson. This girl is cool like the other side of the pillow and knows how to throw a party. If you are in need of an event planner, you are in need of Miss Tee.
It was so great to see so many people come out to support Operation: Kid Equip and socialize with other MCC folks. And Terry, you are right, Tee Thompson is "cool like the other side of the pillow," (what a great phrase!)... not to mention one of the most ethical, capable, and amazing women I know.
Met some great ...no AMAZING people there last night and it was good to see everyone again especially for such a great cause for the kids! Haven't been out in awhile so it was good to share some spirits with some good souls.
