Be Apart of the Boy's & Girl's Clubs Annual Steak & Burger Dinner Fundraiser Event April 29th
Every Year The Boy's & Girl's Clubs of Southeastern Michigan holds an amazing event raising needed funds to operate the clubs through a Steak & Burger Dinner, awards ceremony, and VIP reception.
This years event is emceed by Jim Brandstatter & the comedy of Jim Rein
This event raises over $100k annually but fell just short of that last year and we are looking to get it back to where it should be as the clubs needs have risen with a large loss of much needed funding from the United Way.
This is a great opportunity for businesses to sponsor and advertise (while giving back) to some of the biggest names in Oakland County in attendance like local Mayors, Sheriffs, Judges, and sometimes event he Governor has known to make an appearance. Big names from Chrysler, The Palace, Great Lakes Crossings, city officials, etc are all in attendance as well.
Tables are $1,000 each and individual tickets are $200 each. When you purchase one table (8 seats) you also get 2 tickets to the VIP reception in the beginning where the networking happens. With 3 tables you get 6 and with 5 tables you get all your guests to attend the VIP reception. The money is not due by the day of the event (if need be) but rather anytime in 2009 with a signed letter of commitment.
In the past the event has been hosted by some local celebs like WDIV's Paula Tutman, local professional athletes, Tom Wilson from the Palace Entertainment, The Governor of Michigan, and this year's Key Note is Jim Brandstatter and the comedy of Jim Rein!

Table Sponsors include a table for 8 (2 kids from the club take 2 seats) so, a table for 6 - Dinner, drinks @ the VIP reception at Meadowbrook Hall Masion before hand including networking. Also included is your company info on all mailouts, handouts, the power point, and the sponsor wall. Plaques will be awarded as well and name regognition throughout for those who sponsor this prestigious event. Just a Friendly Reminder that the $ for the event is not due on the day of the event if need be... but no later than December 31st 2009 with a signed letter of intent. This is our way to get you on board and be apart of such a great event and organization!

GOOD NEWS: We are in the positive thus far with the event... and the ball is rolling full speed ahead in selling table sponsorships and donations for the event - Please let me know if you would like to commit to a sponsorship, table, donation, all of the above, etc asap as we draw closer to the event date. Good Morning on this Beautiful Monday in April...
I am checking in to see what I can do to change that 'maybe' to a YES?
First: I want to remind those of you who maybe worried about getting the money in by the 29th that it is NOT DUE by the 29th (day of the event) if need be - but rather anytime in 2009 with a signed letter of committment.
Second: I want to remind you of the great PR opportunities offered in giving and sponsoring this event for the kids being in front of some of the biggest names in Oakland County.
Third: I want to remind you that anything you can do for the clubs would be a HUGE help this year! This has been the toughest year thus far for the clubs and in all 20 years of The Steak & Burger Dinner Fundraiser Event. The clubs have lost over 60% of our donations / sponsors etc throughout the last 2 years so when I say ANYTHING would help - I mean ANYTHING!

Lets all try and do whatever we can to help Keith, and The Boys and Girls Club. I have assisted Keith for the last three years in raising funds for the club by providing our silent auction program at various fundraising events, and will do so again at the Steak and Burger dinner on April 29th. Another great feature this year is the guest speaker, Jim Brandstatter. If you have not had the opportunity to see Mr. Brandstatter at a speaking engagement, do yourself a favor and attend ,because he is outstanding.
The joy on the boys and girls faces when Keith is able to provide them with new items , basketballs, etc. from the monies raised, is priceless, and is what keeps my desire to continue to help Keith and the Kids.
